What is CES?
CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2020 was held from 6 – 10 January 2020.
CES is one of the largest annual technology trade shows, held by the Consumer Technology Association, which brings together tech giants from all over the world.

This year 2020, Intel has a history of 51 years of development.
They forecast that 175ZB of data will have been created by 2025.
The need for data processing, and the ability to move it faster is now more than ever before
This year their focus is on 5G network transformation, AI, and intelligent edge.
Tech enriches lives of society, businesses and people. Ultimately 2020 is all about embedding intelligence for the Intel brand.
Intel Announcements at CES 2020
In the entertainment industry, the Intel and Netflix partnership will deliver the open source SVT AV1 codex. This will allow better streaming quality over lower bit rates, so you can send smaller files without compromising the quality. It will have 60x better compression efficiency. This AI solution is complete from edge to cloud.
Project Athena has released lots of new designs, with better response and performance. For creators, it is all about “keeping you in the flow”. You will spend less time going between tasks, be able to launch apps faster, have fast charging and more battery life, and no lag time.
Project Athena-based Chromebook designs will focus on leading security, manageability, and ease-of-use on devices.
They will also be releasing a range of foldable screen devices, and devices with dual screen designs, including the latest “Horseshoe Bend”: the world’s first 17-inch foldable OLED-screen tablet.
Other upcoming releases: DG1 graphics card, which will be paired with Tiger Lake: the newest 10th gen mobile processor using Xe architecture and Thunderbolt 4; as well as the Wi-Fi 6 series, and last but not least VR without goggles.
